Sgian dubh displaying a basket weave composite handle with simple plain mounts. The pommel surmounted by a walking male lion. The steel blade has a scalloped back edge and single fuller. The leather covered wooden scabbard has shield-shaped mounts and is hallmarked on the reverse ‘RA’, Edinburgh, sterling silver, 1977, with the additional Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee mark.
Condition:
The original steel blade shows natural toning and discoloration. There are also some scuff marks to the silver due to wear and tear.
