A circular brooch formed of an interlaced border enclosing reeded arched panels, centrally set with an architectural claw mount holding a round cut citrine. The reverse has a hinged steel pin with scroll safety clasp, and is stamped with the maker’s mark ‘RA’ for Robert Allison, and hallmarked Glasgow, sterling silver, 1951.
