A hand pierced brooch with Celtic interlace openwork and finely engraved detail, set with a central 2cm citrine in a secure claw mount. The reverse has a hinged steel pin with a scroll safety clasp and is hallmarked Edinburgh, sterling silver, 1964. The maker’s mark has been off-struck and is not possible to discern.
