A Victorian silver locket possibly by Joseph Jennings & Co., Birmingham, 1882

The front of the oval locket has twin pointed oval panels engraved with foliate decoration surrounded by an arch and dot border. The hinged cover opens to reveal a plain interior. There is an integral suspension loop and large shaped bale with later belcher link chain marked ‘FBM, 925’ for sterling silver. The plain reverse has been hallmarked Birmingham, sterling silver, 1882 and a badly struck maker’s mark possibly for Joseph Jennings & Co.

Condition:

Some very small spots of tarnish to the inside.
