A sgian dubh displaying a carved basketweave and Celtic interlace handle with silver studs. The lower mount and pommel of the handle have been decorated with ovolo borders and the pommel set with a foil backed crystal. The steel blade has a scalloped back edge and single fuller. The leather covered wooden scabbard has tooled details and the silver mounts have been engraved with scrolling foliage.
Note: As the mounts likely fall below the legal weight to necessitate hallmarking, it is not surprising to see this piece unmarked.
