This openwork rectangular pendant is comprised (for the most part) of triangles, some of which are enamelled with a deep purple. The reverse is stamped with the maker’s mark ‘NG’ for Norman Grant, together with hallmarks for sterling silver, Edinburgh, 1973. The oval trace-link chain is suspended through a rectangular openwork bail that is integral to the pendant. The chain has the original screwed barrel clap.
