A pair of round silver drop earrings decorated with an enamelled figure wearing a crown in tones of purple, pink, yellow, green and black in a highly polished border. The reverse is stamped ‘JLM’ for Jane Louise Moore with hallmarks for sterling silver, Birmingham, 1997. The item was purchased in 1997 at Goldsmiths’ Fair and comes with the original receipt.
Jane Moore is a highly innovative, expert jeweller and enameller. Her career began in the 1970s after qualifying from Loughborough College of Art and Design in Silversmithing and Jewellery. In 2006, Moore’s mastery of colour led to her being presented with the prestigious Kayman Award from the National Association of Jewellers - https://www.janemoore.co.uk.
