The badge displays a circular belted garter enclosing the motto ‘PRO REGE ET PATRIA’, translated as ‘For King and Country’, while the crest within shows an armoured arm holding a sword aloft for clan Cameron. The reverse has a hinged steel pin and is stamped with the maker’s mark ‘F.N’ for F. Narborough, together with hallmarks for sterling silver, Birmingham,1950 and ‘MADE IN GT BRITIAN’.
