A small silver circular brooch depicting a West Highland galley sailing ship or birlinn. The reverse is set with a hinged pin and safety clasp, and is hallmarked sterling silver, Edinburgh, 2002.
The brooch was designed by the celebrated Scottish Arts & Crafts makers Alexander and Euphemia Ritchie of Iona and made by the Scottish firm Iona Legends. It is also integrally marked on the reverse ‘A E R IONA’ for Alexander and Euphemia Ritchie.
