A small circular brooch depicting a West Highland galley sailing ship or birlinn in 925 sterling silver. The reverse is set with a hinged pin and safety clasp.
The brooch was designed by the celebrated Scottish Arts & Crafts makers Alexander and Euphemia Ritchie of Iona, and made by the Scottish firm Iona Legends. It is also integrally marked on the reverse ‘A E R IONA’ for Alexander and Euphemia Ritchie.
