The shaped pendant is formed as the sun with its rays emanating through the clouds in golden enamels towards a hovering bird in white enamel. The pendant is suspended from a fine oval-trace link chain with simple C clasp. The reverse is stamped with the maker’s mark ‘NG’ for Norman Grant, together with hallmarks for sterling silver, Edinburgh, 1978.
