A delightful honey spoon with Celtic interlace and ivy decoration in hallmarked 925 sterling silver. The bowl of the spoon is shallow with a slightly pointed tip to allow the honey to drip off. The spoon was designed by the celebrated Scottish Arts & Crafts maker Alexander Ritchie and made by the Scottish firm Iona Legends.
The spoon design is featured in a book on Alexander Ritchie’s drawings called ‘The Celtic Art of Iona’ by Iain MacCormick, p.51.
