Just Anderson (1884-1943) was a sculptor and a silversmith who studied at the Royal Academy of Art in Copenhagen, followed by the School of Danish Crafts. In 1918, he established his own workshop and specialised in silver as well as pewter, brass, copper and Disko. The latter was his own invention, an alloy of lead and antimony. After his death, the company continued until 1969 when it was sold.
