The shank is a slightly tapered D-section in form, with a pointed mount arriving at a secure six claw setting which encloses a round brilliant cut diamond of approximately 0.33ct. The stone is bright and lively with minor inclusions only visible under magnification. The maker ‘MLD’ is unknown.
