A silver and enamel flower brooch by Norman Grant (1943-2017), hallmarked Edinburgh, 1965

The brooch is formed as a stylised nine petalled flower head, the graduated petals emanating from a circular centre, each with a vari coloured deep green and turquoise enamel decoration. The reverse is set with a hinged steel pin and scroll safety catch, and is stamped with the maker’s mark ‘NG’ for Norman Grant, together with hallmarks for sterling silver, Edinburgh, 1965.
